Is bedding provided?
Yes bedding is provided and beds are made for your arrival.

Do we have to clean the accommodation when we leave?
We ask that all accommodation is left clean and tidy, rubbish emptied, dishes put away, cooker & crockery all left clean, as you would expect it, when you arrive. A housekeeping starter pack is provided including dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, toilet roll and bin bag. Other basic cleaning materials are provided. For a small fee we can do your final clean-up for you.

What is included in the price? 
Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, wi-fi access and Parking are all included in the price.

Is there a washing machine in the lodge?
There is not a washing machine in the lodge but Cromlech Laundry Dunoon (10 mins) has washers and dryers, and Service washes are also available.

Is there a dishwasher in the lodge?
There is a dishwasher in Calltainn Lodge and in Fraochan Lodge.

What TV channels are there?
In Calltainn and Fraochan Lodge there is 4-channel TV, Catch-up TV, YouTube and Movies, a DVD player and CD player. Each has a small selection of DVDs.

Where are the nearest shops?
The nearest shop is 5 mins away with most basic provisions and is open early until late. There are other shops at Sandbank and in the town of Dunoon, 10 mins.

Can I get a signal on my mobile phone?
Yes there is a good mobile signal on most networks, although EE and Orange signal patchy.

Are dogs allowed in any of the accommodation?
Although we love dogs, and we have one ourselves, we regret they are not accepted in the lodges

Are children allowed?
Children over five years are welcome at Calltainn Lodge and Fraochan Lodge.

Do we have to pay to use the Wi-Fi connection?
Wi-fi access is free of charge.

Are towels or toiletries provided?
Towels and tea towels are provided, but please bring your own toiletries.

When can we arrive and depart?
Your lodge will be available after 4:00 pm on Arrival Day, and you must depart by 10:00 am on Departure Day, but you can request Early Arrival from 2:30 pm or Late Departure to 11:30 am each for a small extra charge

Can I smoke in the lodge, have candles or a barbecue?
All our lodges are No Smoking, but you can smoke outside. The cabins are made of wood so we ask any smokers to smoke away from the lodges. Barbecues are welcome but again not in the immediate vicinity, or directly on grass. Candles and naked flames are not permitted inside the lodge.

Can I cook in the lodge?
Each cabin is equipped with a kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, oven, microwave oven, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are also several country inns, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops nearby or within a 10 min drive.
